Photography, Creative Direction, Retouching, Typography, and Graphic Design by Christian Vaughan

For this project Souvenir wanted an 80’s style shoot for his single “Human Nature.”

To accomplish this I used a variety of vintage overlays in post production to add a sense of vintage texture. Lowering the Hue in the color blue and upping the saturation in the image overall to look as if they were taken on film.

As for the graphic design decisions - I created a custom Film Contact Sheet that includes a variety of different images that I took on a digital camera, but edited in post production to look like film.

I made a few collages for this project to tie in some of the key elements that were reoccurring themes; Such as the use of patches, rockets, and spotlights.

Editing and Graphic Design by Christian Vaughan

For this project author Debbie Vaughan wrote and illustrated a children's book with the objective of getting the book published on Amazon KDP.

My role was to scan the images, retouch them if needed, crop images to fit Amazon KDP guidelines, and create graphic design layouts using some of the images from the book.

These designs were later used as filler pages in the front and back of the book, merchandise, flyers, and social media post.

2020 - Present
